Partnering with My247.com, we have just launched the My Movies iPhone app. This location aware app shows all movies, at all cinemas, anywhere in Australia; you can even find what’s on near you right now.
Using photo real graphics, My Movies is also a polished example of what can be achieved within the ‘standard’ Apple user interface.
More specifically, we designed the app to cater to all types of movie-goers:
- Spontaneous Cinema Patrons who want suggestions on films and locations.
- Pre Meditated Cinema Patrons who know their desired location and time, but need to see what is on at those cinemas.
- Habitual Cinema Patrons who may know the film they want to see and has favourite cinema/s.
My Movies is a clean iPhone application that leverages My247′s extensive movie database to serve up valuable information quickly.
Using the app, you can enter your own Virtual Cinema to flick through the latest releases, read the synopsis, watch the trailer on YouTube and of course find when and where it’s on.
You can find whats showing near you, at any cinema, including Premium Cinemas, Outdoor / Drive-Ins and the Independents. All cinemas are geocoded and include the address, phone number and handy map link.
You can also set your local and favourite cinemas, creating an app that’s core focus is for a useful and intuitive User Experience.
