Liquid Interactive Closed 21 December – 2 January

After a busy year in the office, we will be closed from 21st of December until 2nd January, when we will reopen for the New Year.

ASIC and Financial Basics Foundation: eLearning for Financial Literacy

The Liquid team have had a strong digital involvement with developing eLearning services that surrounded last week’s Money Smart Week.

We collaborated with two Australian financial bodies – ASIC and the Financial Basics Foundation (FBF) – over two separate projects, one targeting adults around the nation, the other, developing eLearning for Australian high school students.

ASIC and Liquid worked to develop interactive eLearning for adults – the Money Health Check which is a financial planning tool for desktop computers. The demand for the Money Health Check saw the Liquid team evolve the design, making the test more convenient and accessible on the go. This brought us to develop the Money Health Check as a smartphone app – for iPhone, and Android devices, which launched with Money Smart Week.

FBF and Liquid have worked together over the past five years on the educational game – ESSI Money. The ESSI Money Challenge (developed from the educational flash game) is a national financial literacy challenge for high school students that is run annually.

We have been delighted to work with two of Australia’s financial authorities to design a smartphone app, develop eLearning activities, and produce educational games for financial education.
