Avocados Australia is the peak industry body for the Australian avocado industry. In addition the various consumer digital marketing activities, we developed a Content Managed website as the online home for the industry. It organises and presents their wealth of information in an easy to navigate site architecture. The site includes a dynamic news feed, as well as an extensive events section where itineraries and SlideShare presentations can be easily added by the client. The site also includes custom search functionality for their bank of Journal Articles and other resources. More detailed search functionality has also been developed in a section for media. They can search for brand information and assets, images, recipes, media releases and more. Similar search functionality has also been developed into a ‘Supply Chain Directory’, as a way for different divisions in the industry to connect with the relevant suppliers.
